Mulled Wine Spices

Not sure how to make the perfect Mulled Wine? Our spice mix is the easiest and most delicious way to impress your guests.
Start by boiling the spices in a little water or red wine (see brewing instructions). This step extracts the rich flavours from the
spices without overcooking the entire bottle of wine. For the perfect balance, we recommend adding some sugar at the start and simmering the mixture until it thickens into a syrup, caramelising the sugar for added depth. To enhance the flavour, feel free to add slices of lemon, orange, or even a bay leaf. But the real secret to a memorable mulled wine? A double measure of rum added at the end will elevate your drink to a whole new level.

Character: Warm, spicy, aromatic
Infusion Time: 10–15 min (depending on your preferred strength)
Gram for 1 Cup: 3g (approx 250 ml)
Brew Temperature: 100°C
Leaf: A fragrant mix of whole and crushed spices
Cup: Rich, aromatic, and warming with a deep, festive fragrance

Ingredients: cinnamon pieces, orange peel, lemon peel, star anise, green cardamom (whole in shell), cloves
