Tea Tips & Recipes

All iced teas are served in the Ikea water glass. Always put the ice cubes first into the glass and garnish last.

White Grapefruit

  • Take the small ice tea container and fill 2 tea bags with 5 tsp White Grapefruit each
  • Let it brew at room temperature for at least one hour but no longer than 1.5h
  • Refrigerate (will last for 3 days)
  • Serve with ice cubes, slice of lemon and slice of orange

Black Lemon

  • Take the bigger ice tea container and use 1.5l boiling water for 1 big black lemon tea bag (they are on top of the brown shelf in office)
  • Let infuse for 15 minutes
  • Take out bag and add 2 tbsp lemon juice, ½ tsp baking powder and 6 tbsp honey.
  • Let completely cool down before refrigerating
  • Serve with ice cubes lemon slices and a sprig of peppermint from outside (stick the stem of the peppermint into the slice of lemon so it does not sink immediately).

Hibiscus Iced Tea:

  • Take the bigger ice tea container and use 1.5l boiling water for 1 big “cool Tropicana” tea bag (they are on top of the brown shelf in office) and 1 bag with 5 tsp hibiscus
  • Let infuse for 15 minutes
  • Take out bags and add 6 tbsp honey
  • Let completely cool down before refrigerating
  • Serve with ice cubes orange slices and a sprig of peppermint from outside (stick the stem of the peppermint into the slice of orange so it does not sink immediately).

Mate Tereré:

  • fill glass to 1/3 with mate
  • stick bombilla into it
  • add 3 ice cubes on top
  • fill with orange juice until mate is covered
  • serve with sunflower jug with more orange juice to refill.
