Golden Monkey

This unique production method, originally from Fujian, has been successfully applied in Yunnan since 2010.
Its name harks back to the time in Wuyi, where trained monkeys were said to pick tea leaves from wild bushes
growing in the steep mountains. The result is a tea with a sweet, mild, and aromatic character, complemented
by its distinct mahogany-red cup.

Character: Sweet, mild, aromatic
Infusion Time: 1 min (increase by 30 seconds for each subsequent infusion)
Brew up to: 3–4 times
Gram for 1 Cup: 3g (approx 250 ml)
Growing Area: Yunnan, Wen Shan
Brew Temperature: 100°C
Leaf: Black-reddish, gently twisted into each other, hairy underside, tips
Cup: Mahogany-red, distinct
