Today modern and controlled organic, this tea has a rich history dating back to the Qing Dynasty (221 BCE) when it was born
by chance in the village of Xingcun. Fresh leaves were dried over pine and cypress wood, giving Lapsang its distinctive smoky character.
Over time, it became a favourite of the Queen and even Sherlock Holmes.
