In the heart of today's Puttabong, British pioneer and tea planter Dr Campbell laid the foundation for tea
cultivation in Darjeeling in 1852. As the region's first tea garden and one of the largest today, Puttabong
translates to "house of green leaves," reflecting the special dedication to the tea plants. This spring harvest
is celebrated for its fine processing, fresh notes, and lively character. Like all First Flush Darjeelings, the taste
is light, fresh, delicate, and flowery, with a subtle muscatel flavour.
